Hearing Loops

A hearing loop, widely used in Northern Europe, may help thousands of people in the United States who use hearing aids.  Hearing loops are installed in the floor, and when a hearing aid is turned on, the tiny receiver built in the hearing aid will only receive noise coming directly from the microphone.  Hearing loops allows background noise to be blocked out.

Hearing loops are being installed throughout the U.S. and is said to become the largest installation in the country.
